How It Works

This capo works by sliding under the fifth string at the desired fret to change the key. The capo is offset so that even though the string is being lifted, the string will be very close to in tune. Just a slight adjustment should be needed.

The leading edge is angled and printed in a contrasting color to assist with guiding the capo in place. This capo is 3D printed in durable PLA plastic and has gone through dozens of iterations to arrive at a design that is easy to deploy and delivers excellent sound.

Compatibility Notes

Clearance: This capo is 4.35mm in height. If your strings are higher than this from the fretboard, this device will not work.
Setup: Will not work with banjos that have a tall 5th string setup for frailing.
Tension: May not work well with banjos that have a lower string tension due to having a long neck or non-steel strings.
